This is my all time favorite hp book and is the book that made me a Lynne Graham fan. **spoilers*** The book starts out with Sarah at the hospital, in shock that her sister just died while giving birth. Sarah is understandably upset and when Alex shows up at the hospital she yells at him and tells him to "get lost". Alex is the baby's uncle and he wants to raise the child. Sarah is appalled and vows the only way he will get the baby is if he marries her. The ensuing arguments are highly charged and wrought with tension. He agrees eventually, and she believes that it will be a marriage of convenience. Wrong! Alex lets her believe this and on their wedding night he throws her own words back at her by informing her that he can't wait for her to "lie back and think of the greater glory of Greece". Brilliant writing!

I don't want to give more of the story away but suffice it to say, this book is a 10 star read. You will read it more than once, I am sure. My sister, borrowed my copy and read it 3 times in 24 hours!!! Yep, it's that good. If you like a strong heroine, lively dialog, an alpha male who gets humbled by heroine's apparent lack of interest (she's more interested in the baby) then you will love this one.

Wow! Wow! Wow! A very exciting book! Couldn't put it down. I thought the ending a little tame compared to what I envisioned but the HEA tied up all the loose ends very nicely. I loved that the heroine gave the hero such a hard time. I would have loved to have actually seen his face after she told him off. Priceless!
Wow a really 👍 book! The first part of the book there was so much hatred I genuinely could not figure out how they could possibly get together ❤ Very well written!! Could not put the book down.

After hearing for years how amazing this book is I just had to get it when it was released as a kindle ebook. I must say that I can understand what the fuss is all about...to an extent. The story as a whole I liked. I thought that as a couple Alex and Sarah were great, especially when they were sparking off each other (fighting) I actually liked them more that way than when they were happy at the end lol. I thought just from the flashback descriptions of Callie that she was a total snot and I was right but I also thought Damon was a total and complete heel. What a spineless jerk. I thought the ending was a bit rushed. I could've used an extra chapter or an epilogue.
This is a long time favorite of mine. It starts at the death of the h sister after giving birth. The lies that were told to cover up the child's conception hurt too many people. So that when angry words were spoken there was no y that forgiveness would come soon. And the marriage of convenience between the two was about to explode. Someone was going to get hurt. I have read this book several times.
I did like the book and you can tell that the hero knew he had gotten her wrong when he comes to her after the newspapers and wants her. He does try a bit but since he is the one who said some really harsh things, I would have liked him to have begged for her or something. I do wish the book would have had more with them as a couple and not fighting so much. It would have been better if they had solved their issues and had a chapter or 2 with them where there was no conflict. I also think the heroine forgave the hero's brother WAY too fast considering all he did. The book made me tear up a few times because of the raw emotion she felt about herself and about what he said to her at times. This was such a good book.

I love the dialogue and chemistry between the two main characters. Very fast paced and snappy. I like this author's style and she didn't disappoint again! There were some great laugh out loud moments that are truly priceless. Of course, it is a keeper and I definitely recommend this book and this author.
